The hemisphere witnesses the transit of Royal planet Sun only other than Moon this week. Sun transits to Makara on the midnight of 14^th. The entry of Royal planet Sun in Makara rasi announces the starting of ‘Utharayanam’ also.  The intelligent planet Mercury starts its combustible motion from 18^th onwards.
